Welcome to the Heritage Academy Trap and Skeet Club. We are excited to have you on our team. Follow the steps below to complete the Athlete Onboarding process. If you have any questions or need help with any of the steps below click here to contact a Coach.
Join the Club
Cost: None
Time: 3 to 5 minutes
Prerequisites: Must be a student at Heritage Academy Maricopa.
Requirement: Computer or smartphone with Internet access.

Team Reach Setup
Cost: None
Time: 3 to 5 minutes
Prerequisites: None.

Summary
Heritage Academy uses Teach Reach to communicate directly with scholars and parents and to share important information like the club practice and competition schedules. Follow the steps below to create a Teach Reach account and join the Heritage Academy Trap and Skeet Club group.
Instructions
If you already have a Teach Reach account, skip to step 3, otherwise continue to step 2.
Download the Team Reach app on your smartphone.
Under Group Code type "50straight".
Account Setup
Cost: None
Time: 5 to 10 minutes
Prerequisites: None
Requirement: Team ID and a computer with Internet access
Summary
The club competes in and receives member benefits from the USA Clay Target League. All members of the club must create a free account with the USA Clay Target League before participating in club events and activities.
Instructions
Open a web browser and navigate to https://www.claytargetgo.com/.
Select the option to "Login to your Athlete Management System".
Enter hea529 in the field labeled "Enter Team ID".
Click the button labeled "Create Account".

Club Handbook
Cost: None
Time: 10 to 15 minutes
Prerequisites: None
Requirement: Computer with Internet access and a printer.
Summary
The Club Handbook is an important document describing what expected of Club members. Parents and scholars should be familiar with the policies and guidelines described in the handbook.
Instructions
Select About > Club Governance from the menu at the top of the page.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link labeled "Club Handbook".
Print and sign the "Handbook Acknowledgement" page.
Print and sign the "Mandatory Liability Waiver" page.
Send a digital copy of the signed pages to hatrapandskeet@gmail.com or bring the original document to S.A.F.E. Range Day training.
Online Training
Cost: $25.00 (Paid directly to USA Clay Target League)
Time: 2 to 3 hours
Prerequisite: Scholars should have an Account setup in the Athlete Management System (AMS).
Requirement: Computer with Internet access and a supported browser
Summary
Safety is our top priority. Prior to any shooting event participation with the club or the USA Clay Target League you must complete the online S.A.F.E. certification training and the S.A.F.E. range day certification. Follow the instructions below to sign-up for and complete the online training course.
Instructions
Open a web browser and navigate to www.usaclaytargetsafe.com.
Scroll down and click the button labeled "Get Started Now".
Register to create a new account used to access the online training system.
Login and click START COURSE from the main menu at the top of the page.
Click and follow directions to purchase the S.A.F.E. online course ($25 fee).
Complete the online course (2 to 3 hours).
Upon completion of the online course, you will receive a digital certificate.
Email or use the Team Reach app to message a copy of the digital certificate to a Coach.
Range Training
Cost: None
Time: 2 hours
Prerequisite: Successfully complete the S.A.F.E. Online Training.
Requirement: S.A.F.E. Online Training certificate.
Summary
The S.A.F.E. Range Day Certification is conducted at the shooting range and coordinated by the team. You will participate in a training session conducted by a C.L.A.S.S. Certified coach. The shooting range training will include firearm safety, shooting sport procedures, shooting clay targets, and range safety requirements. You MUST successfully complete the S.A.F.E. Online Certification and send a digital copy of your certificate to a Coach before participating in S.A.F.E. Range Day training.

Use the Team Reach app to contact the Head Coach when you are ready to schedule S.A.F.E. Range Day Training.
Registration
Cost: Click the Seasons menu at the top of this page for cost details for the Spring and Fall seasons.
Time: 5 minutes
Prerequisite: Scholars must have an Account setup in the Athlete Management System (AMS).
Requirement: Computer with Internet access and a supported browser. League registration must be open.
Summary
Scholars must register to participate in each season for each discipline (trap, skeet, 5-stand, and sporting clays). The league will open and close registration for each season. Spring registration typically opens in early February and closes in late March. The fall season registration typically opens in early August and closes in early September.
Instructions
Login to the Athlete Management System (AMS) from https://claytargetgo.com/
Follow the instructions in AMS to register for the appropriate season.
NOTE: Registration dates are managed by the league. If the season is not yet open, you will not be able to register. Contact your coach or visit http://azclaytarget.com for season details.
Club Fee
Cost: Click the Seasons menu at the top of this page for cost details for the Spring and Fall seasons.
Time: 10 to 15 minutes
Prerequisite: None.
Requirement: None.
Summary
Each scholar is assessed a Club Fee at the commencement of the Fall and Spring seasons. To be eligible to participate the Club Fee must be paid in full prior to the start of each season.

Website Photo
Cost: None
Time: 3 to 5 minutes
Prerequisite: Join the club's Team Reach group.
Requirement: Computer or smartphone with Internet access and a high-resolution digital self-portrait.
Summary
Portraits of each scholar in the club are showcased on the club website under About > Our Team.
Instructions
Use Teach Reach to post a high-resolution digital photo of yourself for the club website. You can find examples from other club members by clicking About > Our Team from the main navigation at the top of the website.
